Nice write up!

It's too bad about #17: Don’t start a liverock aquarium.

I understand the reasons but it would be great to have alternatives to live rock. I know we can make our own but I would also be a good to have some fake live rock available somewhere.

Well, I tend to disagree with their #17 - live rock is a renewable resource that's constantly being created, and as long as it's not over harvested using live rock shouldn't be a problem - the problem is the lack of data on the subject, as in most parts of our hobby.
